Shade studied Radio and Commercial Broadcasting at the NZ Radio Training School in Auckland graduating with Merit. She has worked in Radio for the last 7 years, across multiple departments, as well as previously hosting the Overnight show on The Sound radio station for 3 years. 

You may have heard Shade on George FM over the last few years, more recently voicing the Bedford Soda and Liquor ads prior to April, before leaving NZ for sunny Queensland where she now resides.
