Originally trained as an actor, Briar mostly finds herself behind-the-scenes these days, producing for a video production company.

Having experience on both sides has allowed her a unique understanding of the production process, marketing strategy and the importance of storytelling, while also having a strong command of the voice.

In the past year, she has been using her voice more often, as a voice actor for character, corporate and commercial content.

She has a history of working within toi Māori, and has learned some simple te reo Māori. She also has experience with standardised Australian and American accents.
