Rory Barnett

Young Adult, Adult
Has Own Studio

Hi, I’m Rory.

My life behind a microphone began as a radio co-presenter on my local station. I then moved to the BBC, where I spent more than 15 years as a presenter, reporter, newsreader and producer. I now work full time as a voice artist, based at my studio in London.

When I get asked what kind of voiceovers I do, the simple answer is …. everything! I love the variety of projects that I am able to work on – from global brand commercials, conversational explainer videos, to top secret E-learning projects, gaming and even “Zompoc” audiobooks (I didn’t know what that was either, until I started the project – it’s short for ‘Zombie Apocalypse!’)

As you can guess from the range of work I perform, I pride myself on my flexibility, adaptability and variety. I work really well with clients on live sessions (my live radio background giving me a real advantage).

I also have a natural aptitude for languages – I speak French fluently, and have studied German, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese and even ancient Greek!
