Hi I’m Susan,
I’m a native Italian voice actor, Earphones Award winning audiobook narrator with Penguin Random House Audio, John Marshall Media and Harper Audio working in theatre, commercials, eLearning, and Video Games. I am originally from Milano, and fully bilingual in English and Italian.

Born from an Italian father and American mother, I have traveled from a very young age extensively both in Europe, the US and Southeast Asia and finally settled in Los Angeles, California. Even though my soul belongs to Italy I consider myself a citizen of the world and a free spirit because I have had the opportunity to experience different cultures which gave me a unique and cosmopolitan voice. I often get asked, “Where are you from? I can’t pinpoint your accent!” Which is exactly how I like it. I’m a Little Bit of Everywhere with a Touch of La Dolce Vita!

This is the reason why I consider myself a Global Voice that transcends geographic borders and is ideal for a wide range of voice over projects. These foreign experiences from a young age have taught me how to adapt to unpredictable situations, so you can throw at me any piece of direction for your script, and I won’t be thrown off my game!

As far as the technical stuff, I’m happy to work with you from my custom built double walled vocal isolation booth and speaking into a Rode NTG5 microphone. I record using Adobe Audition and my interface is a Steinberg UR22. I can connect with you through Source Connect Pro, (my id: gufamatta), Skype, Zoom, or phone patch.
