Born and raised in northern England, I moved to Scotland over 30 years ago and haven’t looked back. Now based in Edinburgh, I find myself with an accent described by some as ‘neutral’, ‘soft Edinburgh’, even ‘well spoken’.

Having studied and worked in film production and photography, I attained an MSc in Sound Design from the University of Edinburgh before working for a local media company as an Audio Reader. I also write fiction for adults and children and have read at the Edinburgh International Book Festival, where I heard my voice described as, “Ooh, a bit Radio 4”. Listen to my audio samples to hear for yourself.
